The Warriors, Builders, & Weavers of Cincinnati’s Foodshed

February 26–28, 2026

Studio Kroner is pleased to present The Warriors, Builders, & Weavers of Cincinnati’s Foodshed, a three-day exhibition running February 26–28, 2026, that brings art, mapping, and storytelling together to explore the people and systems shaping Cincinnati’s regional food economy.

Cincinnati’s Foodshed: An Art Atlas

Rooted in Cincinnati’s Foodshed: An Art Atlas—a visually rich, 280+-page, community-driven publication—this exhibition transforms the Atlas from a book into an immersive, participatory gallery experience. Visitors are invited to engage with the farmers, chefs, activists, artists, and enterprises who are cultivating a more sustainable and equitable foodshed across the Cincinnati Tri-State region.

Produced by Alan Wight and collaborators, Cincinnati’s Foodshed: An Art Atlas blends artistic story maps, historical research, and grassroots inquiry to document the region’s food system in all its complexity. The Warriors, Builders, & Weavers builds on the success of the publication by activating its ideas in physical space—inviting dialogue, reflection, and collective learning.

An immersive, participatory exhibition exploring the people, places, and systems shaping Cincinnati’s regional food economy.

The exhibition will feature:

  • Original works from the Foodshed Atlas

  • New neighborhood food maps by Karen Bohyen and Scott Hand

  • New, graphic-novel-inspired storyboards by Stephen Kroger and Alan Wight, designed to spark facilitated conversations and public exchange

Together, these works reveal the often-unseen abundance of Cincinnati’s local food system while foregrounding the individuals and relationships that sustain it.
