The Warriors, Builders, & Weavers of Cincinnati’s Foodshed
February 26 - 28, 2026
Studio Kroner presents Warriors, Builders, & Weavers, a three-day exhibition rooted in Cincinnati’s Foodshed: An Art Atlas, a visually rich exploration of the Cincinnati Tri-State region’s food economy. The exhibition brings the book’s artwork, research, and storytelling into the gallery, offering new ways to engage with the people and systems that sustain our local food movement.
Produced by Alan Wight and collaborators, Cincinnati’s Foodshed: An Art Atlas blends artistic story maps, historical insight, and community-driven research to highlight the farmers, chefs, activists, artists, and enterprises shaping a more sustainable and equitable regional food system. Warriors, Builders, & Weavers builds on this foundation, translating the Atlas’s ideas into an immersive exhibition experience.
The exhibition features original works from the Foodshed Atlas, new graphic-novel-inspired storyboards by Stephen Kroger and Alan Wight, and newly created neighborhood food maps by Karen Bohyen and Scott Hand. Together, these works reveal the often-unseen abundance of Cincinnati’s food landscape and anchor a series of facilitated conversations and public events.
