FotoFocus'26 | Erika NJ Allen
October 8 - November 1, 2026
Studio Kroner is honored to be selected as an official venue of the 2026 FotoFocus Biennial: The Long View, presenting a new exhibition by Cincinnati artist Erika NJ Allen, Beneath All Distance.
In this exhibition, Allen presents a body of work that merges experimental photographic processes, ceramic surfaces, and moving image. Working exclusively with pinhole and analog film photography, the artist documents landscapes shaped by vast geological time—sites whose physical features bear visible traces of history, endurance, and change. These terrains serve both as subjects of visual inquiry and as catalysts for reflection on humanity’s place within a broader temporal continuum.
Through analog processes, ancient landscapes, and durable materials, Allen’s work embodies The Long View, offering a meditation on scale, memory, and endurance across deep time.
