Saturday, November 8 | 1–2 pm

Join us for an intimate conversation with artist and naturalist John Agnew, whose exhibition The Art of John Agnew is now on view at Studio Kroner.
During this special event, John will share insights into his artistic journey—from creating museum dioramas and murals around the world to focusing on fine art in scratchboard and plein air painting. He’ll discuss his deep fascination with the “unloved” creatures of the natural world, how scientific observation shapes his work, and the 19th-century engraving techniques that inspired his signature scratchboard style.
You'll get a behind-the-scenes look at:
His creative process and materials
The evolution from museum exhibit artist to full-time fine artist
Stories from his work in museums, zoos, and field research
How art can shift the way we see nature’s most overlooked species
This event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited.
Exhibition runs through November 29.
Closing Reception: Saturday, Nov. 29 | 1–4 pm
We hope you'll join us for an afternoon of art, storytelling, and discovery.
