When John paints he focuses on being in the moment; being fully present to what he is experiencing and what is being revealed through the paint.His process is very sensorial. He utilizes encaustic wax, oil paint and pigmented shellac fused together with fire in ways that delight the senses.Painting is a process of discovery.
