In the Spring of 2023, Studio Kroner hosted the first-ever all AI-generated art exhibit in Cincinnati, Ohio. Our world is changing. Disruption is in the air. The question was, and still is, "Yes, But is it Art?" This month-long show featured artists who explore AI in their work, panel discussions, and performances by the School of Creative and Performing Arts.

Bio

"YES, But is it Art?

A month-long show that featured the following artists who explore AI in their work: Alan Brown, Judi Bommarito, Teri Campbell, Patrick Lichty, and Brandy VanGessel. Using AI engines such as DALL-E 2, Midjournery, and others, they investigate the creative potential and limitations of "text to image" based artwork. We also welcomed Intellectual Property (IP) attorney Sean Owens, and aspiring playwrights and actors from the Cincinnati School for Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA) into the gallery to perform a series of short skits about innovation and disruption.
