"My paintings are centered around the urban environment and seek to transform its banality through careful and personal reconstruction. Through painting Cincinnati's ever-changing landscape, I hope to preserve what will inevitably be lost: those treasures that become our city's heirlooms."

Artist Statement

My paintings are centered around the urban environment and seek to transform its banality through careful and personal reconstruction. Painting is a process of addition and subtraction through physical layers. In the same way, our city is constantly in a state of construction and demolition. Through painting Cincinnati's ever changing landscape, I hope to preserve what will inevitably be lost: those treasures that become our city's heirlooms.
